Welcome to my website.

 

If you didn't already know my name is Candace Christian. I'm a 22 year old Filmmaker (Director/Editor) and Photographer that has been persuing both these fields for seven years now. I'm from Maryland currently living in Orlando, FL. I started learning film and photography freshman year of high school at George Washington Carver School of The Arts and Technology (Towson,MD). It is a magnet school that I got into for visual arts and within this magnet program I got into film and photography. This was only the start of the path took that what I would end up continuing on as a career choice. Currently, I am a Junior in college working towards a BFA Film Degree in Editing and Directing at Miami Dade College with an A.S. Technical Degree in Film and Video Production at Valencia College. Film is where my passion is though I do love the art of Photography. 

 

 I don't like to limit myself one particular category in the arts because I can see and do just about anything. Meaning, if I want to paint I do it, if I want to learn animation I will do it and to the best of my best of my ability. I feel my work expresses this and I say this not to be cocky, but because I believe in myself and have confidence enough to say this. I wouldn't want to be doing anything else with my life. I'm lucky to have a family that supports me and my dreams. The sheer fact is that I've seen people fail at the job that is considered a "sure thing". So why not put 110% into doing what you love from the start? At least then you're making yourself into someone you can be super proud doing something you can be proud of.
